“Robo Chef is not only the first restaurant in Odisha but also the first restaurant in eastern India and the first non-line follower restaurant in India.” he added.

The two little robots has been developed using the SLAM (Simultaneous Localization And Mapping) technology. SLAM is the process of creating a map using a robot that navigates that environment while using the map it generates. Therefore, the key feature of the robots developed using SLAM technology needs no guided path and environment modification for its installation in any restaurant. It automatically navigates like humans, follows the instructed routes and reaches the goals.

“It has 17 kinds of censors that sense the particular environment, smoke, and heat, identify persons, greet and welcome people,” said Mr. Bhubanesh Mishra, MD of Club First.

The services provided by the two robots at the new restaurant will definitely attract the food lovers as well as the customers to step in to the restaurant with much curiosity. You will surely be amazed as these two robots will ask you in Odia “Apana Mane Khushi Ta?” (Means Are You Happy) after serving the food.  So what are you waiting for?
